SUSANNE
GOLD-SMITH
NOT THIS TIME
my story
My name is Susanne Gold-Smith, I'm a sexual assault survivor and victim of coercive control. In 2018, during a contentious divorce and custody litigation, I was surveilled by several PI's, many of whom were retired NYPD police officers.
At the time, some of the PI's assigned to the case interacted with me almost daily, both verbally and physically, violating numerous industry protocols, state laws, and company policies. As alleged, I was exploited and manipulated by these men, which ultimately led to one them raping me and recording the assault while I was incapacitated. My husband and I sued the defendants civilly for sexual assault and spent 6 long years seeking justice.
By telling my story, I hope to help other victims of coercive control and sexual assault, perpetrated by those in positions of power and authority.

My Music
I've always loved performing, singing, and songwriting. Music is an emotional release for me. I wrote "Not this time" as a form of therapy, as a way to cope with the PTSD I deal with daily, and to empower victims of sexual assault and coercive control.
